AMSAP Historic Car and Motorcycle Show:
“From carriages to the present day” with the inauguration of the photographic exhibition “Once upon a time”
Sunday, July 19th,
10:30 am and 3:30 pm
Value of the experience: 30 euros
Reduced: 20 euros
The Villa Magnani Park will host AMSAP – the Biella Historic Motorcycle and Car Association – transforming the 19th-century residence into a narrative journey dedicated to the evolution of transportation, from carriages to the present day.
Two guided tours are scheduled during the day, upon registration.
Participants will enjoy an immersive experience that combines the area's nature, history, and culture: after a guided tour along the historic avenues, the public will be able to continue into the garden, where a selection of iconic 20th-century vehicles will be on display, models that have shaped eras and collective imaginations.
The exhibition will interact with the landscape of the Villa, creating a fascinating contrast between the tranquility of the nineteenth-century park and the evocative power of the vehicles that crossed the last century.
To complete the experience, the photographic exhibition “ Once upon a time…” will be inaugurated in the Scuderie, set up in the Carriage Room: a collection of images created using an ancient 19th-century technique that allows you to observe, through photography, how the mountains appeared in the 19th century.
A rare and evocative exhibition, which intertwines memory, technique, and landscape.
A unique opportunity to discover how mobility, perspectives, and the way of inhabiting the area have changed over time, in a context where history and beauty meet naturally.

Author's Notes at Villa Magnani with Anthony Cardella
Debut of unreleased songs on the Villa's historic piano
Saturday, July 25, 4:00 PM
Value of the experience: 30 euros
Reduced: 20 euros
After the guided tour of Villa Magnani Park, participants will be invited to take their seats in the historic hall for a unique musical event: an exclusive concert by pianist and composer Anthony Cardella, arriving directly from Los Angeles for this special occasion.
On one of the Villa's antique pianos, Cardella will present an intimate and refined program that intertwines unreleased music, original compositions, and personal reworkings of Chopin, creating a subtle dialogue between past and present, between local memory and artistic sensibility.
Recognized for his virtuosity, refined touch, and ability to establish a deep emotional connection with audiences, Anthony Cardella is an award-winning artist who performs regularly throughout the United States and Europe. His musical research blends classical repertoire with works by living composers, with a particular focus on programs that connect music, visual arts, and storytelling.
Originally from Wisconsin and now based in Los Angeles, Cardella is an Assistant Professor of Music at Occidental College, teaches at the Colburn School, and maintains an intense performing, teaching, and composing career. His works, influenced by synesthesia and the relationship between color and sound, also had their world premiere at the 2024 Venice Biennale.
The concert at Villa Magnani will be a rare opportunity to hear his music in an exceptional historical context, where the voice of the ancient piano meets the sensitivity of a contemporary artist.
A profound listening experience. A meeting of eras. A once-in-a-lifetime concert.
