Months of creativity and vision
The August and September activities begin with a dedicated guided tour of historic architecture, romantic 19th-century gardens, lakes, vintage carriages, and the permanent bibliographic exhibition on the brothers Marcellino and Giuseppe Roda.
The Park becomes a place of creative exploration , where workshops, artistic meetings and musical moments invite you to observe and interpret the landscape with new sensitivity, among colours, images and atmospheres that change with the light of the last weeks of summer.

Reduced rate for visitors with disabilities, children up to 12 years old, and guests who have already participated in activities or guided tours of the Park during the 2026 summer season.
Total duration of the experience: 2–3 hours, variable depending on the proposed activity.

Artistic Workshop in the Villa Magnani Park

In the Park of Villa Magnani, a three-day workshop is dedicated to three artistic techniques: photography, watercolour, and painting.
Participants may choose one discipline, two, or follow the entire programme.
Activities take place outdoors, along the pathways and in the most characteristic areas of the Park, with moments of guided practice and individual sessions.
The programme includes an artistic guided tour and a botanical tour, offering insights into the historical, landscape, and botanical context that characterises the Villa’s park.
Throughout the workshop, participants will observe the Park, collect visual materials, and develop their works under the guidance of the instructors.
The workshop has limited availability.
Instructors
Francesco Ferraro – Photography Professional photographer active in Valle Cervo and the province of Biella. He works in wedding, school, and documentary photography, with a focus on photography as a structured language. He leads training courses dedicated to technique, composition, and image construction.
Diana Carolina Rivadossi – Watercolour and Illustration Visual artist with a background in Printmaking and New Technologies for Art. She develops projects based on natural inks, drawing from life, and collective practices. She collaborates with schools, associations, and publishers, promoting drawing as a tool for observation and connection.
Mario Saroldi – Painting Designer and illustrator with experience at Bertone, Pininfarina, and Giugiaro. Lecturer at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin in Illustration and Colour Theory. Now active as a painter in Valle Cervo, he brings to the workshop a solid knowledge of colour and composition.
The fourth day is dedicated to the presentation of the works created during the workshop.

The exhibition, accompanied by a guided tour of the Park and the display of the final works, is scheduled for Saturday, 15 August.
A reduced rate of €10 is reserved for relatives of workshop participants, people with disabilities, children up to 12 years old, and those who have already taken part in an activity of the 2026 Summer Programme.

Fingerstyle – Concert by Dario Fornara

Amid the paths of Villa Magnani Park and its evocative atmosphere, a guided tour leads through clearings, glimpses, and shifting perspectives, revealing the dialogue between nature and design.
Concluding the tour, Dario Fornara, acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, composer, and solo artist, offers a new musical piece dedicated to the acoustic guitar. His repertoire combines technique, improvisation, and timbre exploration, creating a spontaneous dialogue with the landscape and architecture of the Park.
Dario Fornara
Acoustic fingerstyle guitarist, composer, and solo artist. He is president of the Fingerstyle Life music and cultural association, through which he promotes initiatives dedicated to the acoustic guitar. For eight years, he collaborated as an author and journalist with the specialized magazine Chitarra Acustica (fingerpicking.net).
He has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Clive Carrol, Peter Finger, Laurence Juber, Frank Vignola, John Jorgenson, Beppe Gambetta, Tony McManus and Franco Morone.
He is a spokesperson for Schertler amplification systems and products, EKO Guitars, Chatelier Guitars, Savarez Strings, Foxgear pedals, Perlucens LxA products, G7th capos and DavidLaboga cables.
The concert proposed for Villa Magnani presents an original repertoire with improvisations and new compositions.

Regolamento del Concorso – Mostra Finale del Laboratorio Artistico di Villa Magnani

Partecipazione alla mostra: Possono esporre le proprie opere solo i partecipanti che hanno preso parte ad almeno una giornata del Laboratorio Artistico nel Parco di Villa Magnani. La partecipazione al laboratorio comporta l’accettazione integrale del presente regolamento.

Opere ammesse: Sono ammesse esclusivamente le opere realizzate durante le attività del Laboratorio Artistico. Non verranno accettati lavori precedenti, esterni o prodotti al di fuori delle giornate del laboratorio.

Anonimato delle opere: Le opere saranno esposte in forma anonima: non devono comparire nomi, firme o segni che possano ricondurre all’autore.

Categorie del concorso: Il concorso è suddiviso in due sezioni:

Sezione pittura

Sezione fotografia
Ogni partecipante concorre nella categoria corrispondente alla propria attività svolta durante il laboratorio.

Modalità di votazione: La votazione si svolge pubblicamente nel pomeriggio di sabato 15 agosto, secondo gli orari stabiliti dall’organizzazione. Ogni visitatore può esprimere una preferenza per ciascuna categoria.
